Le projet HIA4SD est un projet de recherche international mené par un consortium multinational basé au Burkina Faso, au Ghana, au Mozambique, en Suisse et en Tanzanie. Le projet vise à renforcer l’application de l’évaluation de l’impact sur la santé en tant que mécanisme de réglementation pour engager les projets de ressources naturelles à œuvrer en faveur de l’Agenda 2030 pour le développement durable. Le projet est financé par le programme r4d, qui est une initiative conjointe du Fonds national suisse de la recherche scientifique et de l’Agence suisse pour le développement et la coopération.
